Communauté francophone accueillante de Clare, in collaboration with the Government of Canada, la Société acadienne de Clare, Loisirs de Clare, Inclusion Clare, the CDÉNÉ, the CBDC and la Chambre de commerce de Clare, is proud to present the second edition of les Journées multiculturelles de Clare, from June 24 to 27, 2022.

Friday, June 24

poutine

Poutine Fest

3 to 7 p.m.

Happy Saint-Jean, Clare! Join us at le Ptit Robicheau to celebrate la Francophonie in Canada and to eat some seriously good poutine. It's all about the squeaky cheese!

Special: While quantities last, CFA de Clare will cover a portion of our Special Event Poutine, BUFFALO CHICKEN POUTINE, from 3 to 7 p.m. Regular $14, our special price $10

Mike à Vik

Rock out to Mike à Vik as he sings a selection of songs from French Canada in our outdoor concert area next to the restaurant. All ages.

We are paying tribute to Clare’s hispanic community with an entertaining night of food and music at the Clare Veterans Centre! Savour sancocho, a delicious Dominican stew, by our friends at El Shaddai Jireh. Doors open at 6 p.m., food will be served starting at 6:30. All ages. Cash bar (ID required).

Cost: $12 a plate ($10 for children, students and seniors). No reservations needed, while supplies last

We are paying tribute to Clare’s hispanic community with an entertaining night of food and music at the Clare Veterans Centre! Cuban-born musician Frederic Mujica will take the stage at 7 p.m. for an energizing show. All ages. Cash bar (ID required).

Communauté francophone accueillante de Clare and Inclusion Clare are so pleased to welcome Seoul Food's talented Gyu-Na Park to the Inclusion Clare Community Kitchen. She will be preparing delicious Japchae, a Korean dish made of glass noodles, beef and vegetables. For $12 a plate ($10 for children, students and seniors), each meal also includes a drink and dessert. Proceeds will go to Inclusion Clare. Clare's business community is invited for a drink and a meal to discuss the benefits of inclusive workplaces at the Clare Golf & Country Club. Panellists Aicha Dabo, Yalla Sangaré and Dr. Sukhip Singh will be sharing their experiences in the workplace. Hosted by André LeBlanc (CDÉNÉ) and Rose Madden (CBDC).
